The Rising Tides scarf graced the cover of Knitter’s Magazine 125, Winter 2016. Although it looks like a complicated series of waves, it is the result of repeating short rows across the length. You will create a mini version to learn the crochet cast-on, and the T&DS (turn and double stitch) short row, sometimes known as a German short row.
